On October 20, Mdundo, a music streaming platform that provides easy and legal access to music and DJ mixes, hosted a mixer in partnership with the Association of Music Artist Managers of Nigeria (AMAMN) to celebrate its growth in Nigeria and introduce the brand to key players in the music industry.
The mixer was held at Sidewalk in Victoria Island, Lagos, and was attended by prominent members of AMAMN, including the chairman of the organization, as well as music industry executives, professionals, partners, and members of the media.
The purpose of the mixer was to educate attendees about Mdundo's goals for music in Africa, its services, how to get the most out of Mdundo as a music platform, and to raise awareness of the platform, which has 25 million monthly active users. The event also provided an opportunity for attendees to network with each other. The mixer featured a celebration of Nigerian music growth, an introduction to Mdundo's services, a question-and-answer session, food, and drinks.
"We are thrilled to have partnered with AMAMN for this informative Monthly Mixer," said Umeadi Onyekwelu, Head of Music Licensing for West Africa. "In the harmonious partnership between Mdundo and AMAMN, the music industry's finest talent managers unite, creating a symphony of opportunity and innovation for artists and their managers to thrive. It is essential that artists have the tools and knowledge to effectively promote their message. Our collaboration with AMAMN perfectly aligns with our mission to empower musicians across Africa."
"It was the most engaging mixer that we have partnered with any platform to host," commented Godwin Raphani, AMAMN's PRO. He further emphasized on the easy access, data, and convenience that Mdundo provides to content creators and industry
